Center for Early Education and Development (CEED)
The Child Care Resources & Referral Regional Coordinator implements the Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services for Minnesota Region 7E (Pine Tech CCR&R). Responsibilities include expanding and strengthening the child care delivery service, maintaining Community Outreach and partnerships with other early childhood initiatives and community organizations in the region, marketing and promotion. Head Start Specialist
Work with a team of Head Start Specialists and other professionals to provide training and technical assistance to Head Start/Early Head Start and other early childhood programs through a variety of state wide and cluster events across the state. Assess the needs of Head Start/Early Head Start grantees to develop resources, conduct workshops, and facilitate meetings supporting priorities at the state, regional, and national level. Develop and disseminate resources to support Head Start/Early Head Start sustainability and/or organizational capacity.
The Head Start Specialist positions are work-from-home opportunities which will require travel within the state. There are currently 2 Head Start Specialist positions open in Minnesota, including a position requiring Infant/Toddler expertise. Professional Development Director
The Professional Development Director is responsible for the coordination of Minnesota’s Child Care Resource & Referral professional development delivery system, including management of the professional development department of the Minnesota Child Care Resource & Referral Network. The Professional Development Director oversees internal program and system development and an internal department that is committed to strengthening the child care system in Minnesota by creating, supporting and promoting quality continuing education opportunities for child care providers. Anoka/Washington County Head Start is currently accepting applications for a Teacher.
Duties and Responsibilities: Operate a safe, diverse, and developmentally appropriate classroom in accordance with state/federal requirements. Directly supervise the center staff including assistant teacher, classroom assistant/aide and volunteers. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with families, co-workers, and supervisors. Responsible for the daily operations of the classroom. Encourage and welcome volunteers in classroom and promote parent involvement. Complete all required documentation. Plan and provide an individualized curriculum for children. Dependable attendance and be flexible in the daily schedule. Prepare and participate in Parent/Teacher conferences and home visits in accordance with Performance Standards and plans. Resources for Child Caring / Redleaf Press (RCC), an organization whose mission is to raise the standard of care for children, is searching for a Professional Development Coordinator. This position coordinates Early Childhood training and education through the CCR&R, which includes Anoka, Washington, Ramsey, Scott, Carver, Dakota and Hennepin Counties. Qualifications:
• Must meet basic requirements of Minnesota child care regulatory agency.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a quality preschool, or a child care center.
• Have a degree related to early childhood or preschool or elementary education.
• Have current certifications in First Aid and CPR.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the overall supervision of children in the program room
• Assist with implementing lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials.
• Assist with providing an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration and decision-making by the children.
• Assist with implementing any other responsibilities as designated by the Assistant Director or Owners.
Upon Employment:
• Must meet all Primrose Schools and local, state or national basic health requirements as well as other requirements.
• Must complete all necessary company employment and payroll forms.
• Submit to criminal background investigation report.
Reports directly to the Owner.
