Professional Development Positions The Program Specialist 's duties include trainer communications and support (updates, newsletter, etc.); conference coordination (Sharing the Wisdom & the CCR&R in-service); training/trainer data and training resources/materials. We are lucky to have Julie Wasiluk in this position! The Professional Development Coordinator (formally known as the “Special Projects Coordinator) is responsible for coordinating specific professional development initiatives and projects as assigned. Currently, these include the Not By Chance and Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC/ITTI) training initiatives as well general professional development delivery strategies and plans. Gail Mahr brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position. ( See the article on Gail for more information) The Eager-to-Learn Professional Development Coordinator 's duties include coordinating the delivery of all online courses, recruiting/selecting/supporting instructors, providing support for all prospective and current students, and develop/maintain policies and procedures based on effective online education practices. Cory Woosley continues to shine in this role! The Administrative Assistant is responsible for developing and maintaining tracking systems/databases, preparing and issue registration lists and certificates, preparing mailings, providing meeting support and other duties as assigned. Tina Newville-Lines has recently joined our staff for this part-time, temporary position.
