Hi, my name is Linda Magel. I am the new Provider Support Coordinator.
I am very excited about my new position working at the MN Child Care Resource And Referral network! The positive energy here is amazing. The employees all have such passion and dedication to the field.
Most recently, I worked at Resources for Childcare as the Grants Coordinator. In this position, I coordinated with the grants team; grant applications and the allocation process. For 13 years previous to that, I worked at Anoka County Community Action Program. I worked as a Referral Coordinator in Child Care Resource and Referral. In this position, I developed reports, administered grants and trained staff. I also worked as a Child Care Assistance Consultant, working with low income families. In addition to this, I was the Data Tracking Coordinator for the MN Child Care Resource and Referral.
In my personal life, I have two grown children. My son Jason is a Chiropractor, and my daughter Audra is an Event Planner. In my spare time, I take my dog Bella for walks, read , do yoga and spend time with family and friends.
